2. General
This website can be used without providing any personal data. The pages are delivered as static files; there are no user accounts, no comment function, no forms and no newsletter. No cookies are set and no analytics or advertising services are embedded.
3. Server log files
When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically: IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is used solely to ensure trouble-free operation and the security of the systems. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless a security incident requires longer retention.
4. Contact by email
If you send me an email, your details (email address, name, content) are stored to process the enquiry and for follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Fonts
The fonts used are downloaded when the website is built and served from this server. No connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is established when you visit the site.
6. YouTube videos
Videos from YouTube are embedded on the “Videos” page. They are loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only after you click the preview image. Until then no connection to YouTube/Google is made. By clicking you consent to YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) processing data about your visit; data may be transferred to the USA. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Links to social networks
The links to Instagram and Facebook are plain links. No plugins or scripts from these providers are embedded; data is only transmitted once you follow the link.
8. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
9. Hosting
The website is hosted on servers in Germany. Where required, a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
